Paso Fino Breeding and Sales

Rancho Vitorino- The name means “Victory” and our horses are descended from some of the greatest champions of the Paso Fino horse world.  Our bloodlines include: Resorte IV, Rescate, Plebeyo, Contrapunto, Majestuoso, Bochica, Amadeus, and the Legendary Capuchino.

The philosophy at Hawaii Paso Finos, LLC  is to breed our top quality Paso Fino mares with only championship caliber Paso Fino stallions exhibiting the highest level of correctness in gait and conformation.  We constantly strive for the best balance of brio and temperament, all showing in the current crop of excellent foals produced on the ranch.

We are proud to be the owners of the first registered Paso Fino foals born in the state of Hawaii.  Our babies are raised in spacious open pastures with plenty of fresh air, grass, sunshine and exercise in order to better facilitate their muscular development.

We believe in keeping all our horses in as natural an environment as possible in order to keep them happy and healthy, with their normal horse and herd instincts intact.  Although we do imprint at birth, the foals are immediately sent to pasture to socialize with the rest of our Paso Finos.  

Our training methods are based on natural horsemanship techniques, giving leadership and guidance to the horses as they find their way through early learning, leading up to the normal discipline necessary to take them under saddle.  Paso Finos are naturally gaited, and never require any artificial aids or training methods in order perform their gait as they are started under saddle.

Most horses of this breed are extremely tractable, meaning easily trained, and with the help of gentle human interaction, turn out to be very willing riding horses.
