Paso Finos Ride in Aloha Festival Paniolo Parade

The Paso Finos made thier debut appearance this year in the Aloha Festival "Paniolo" Parade in the Big Island upcountry town of Waimea.  The lovely grey mare, Apollonia, and our photogenic chestnut gelding, Gaucho, were dressed up Spanish style and rode along to Flamenco music with Joe and our riding student Jennifer Farrag on board.  Even with a loud rock band playing on top of a giant Mack truck in front of them, the horses did not miss a beat, gaiting on cue to the delight of the crowds lining the highway that day, and waiting quietly in front of the Royal Court for the traditional gift offering.
