Operation Vacation Hawaii Hosts Army Family

Over Veteran's Day week we were proud to host to the Aquino family from Schofield Barracks, Oahu through the Operation Vacation program.  Sergeant First Class Mark Aquino along with his wife Carla and daughter Aubrianna participated in the Annual Veteran's Day ceremony and luncheon at Kamehameha Park with members of the Kohala National Guard Alumni.  While on the Big Island, the family fell in love with Kohala and its natural beauty. They were treated to a spectacular rainforest and waterfall trek courtesy of Hawaii Forest and Trail.  Mahalo to Hawaii Airlines, Alamo rental car, Kohala Country Adventures Guesthouse, Luke's Place, Fig's Mix Plate, CSC Cafe, Minnie's Cafe, Snack Shack, Blue Dragon Cafe, Kohala National Guard Alumni and many others for the generous donations that make this program possible.
