Benefit Horse Care and Training Clinic With Gaited Breed Demonstration

Date-2010-07-24
Hawaii Paso Finos, LLC recently hosted a benefit fundraising horse care and training clinic with gaited horse demonstration and fun show at the ranch in Kapaau July 24th. Proceeds from the clinic benefitted both the Kohala Equine Educational Center project, and the Hawaii Island Horse Rescue Fund. The response and attendance was overwhelming, and along with the popular silent auction, raised over $2500! We were so very pleased to be able to present this informational and fun clinic to our community. Clinicians who participated that day were trainers Lester Buckley and Eloise Tucker, farrier Sally Boyd, equine massage therapist Aulani Jeffery, and veterinarians Dr. Brady Bergin, DVM and Dr. Jody Bearman, DVM equine acupuncturist. Breeds demonstrated at the lunch time break were our Paso Fino horses, a Tennessee Walker and Spotted Saddle Horse, and Icelandic horses.
